Q: How long does it take to get emergency service?
A: While we do our best to provide fast, expedient service, there are many variables that might affect our ability to get to your location quickly. These might include power outages, bad weather, distance or widespread emergencies that have resulted in an overabundance of calls. Under normal circumstances, we should be able to reach you within a few hours.
Q: Does my heating system really need a yearly tune-up?
A: Yearly tune-ups are always highly recommended. Every manufacturer has its own maintenance schedule and it is important to make sure the schedule is followed in order to prevent your warranty from being voided. Plus, not maintaining your equipment regularly can often lead to costly repairs down the road. Regular service will keep your heating system running as it should, which will save you a lot of money—not only on service calls but on fuel costs as well. Proactive tune-ups are much less expensive than fixing a problem when it occurs. Our service plans include yearly tune-ups, so you might want to consider that.
Q: Do you do your own heating system installations or do you outsource to other companies?
A: Vaughn Oil uses only our own highly trained technicians to do our installations. This is why we can feel confident about guaranteeing our work!
Q: I would like an estimate. How long will this take?
A: Call our office today to set up a visit. Our technicians will come to your location at a time that is convenient for you.
Q: How can I choose the heating system that’s right for me?
A: Our technicians use scientific methods to determine what size system is right for your home or business. Once we complete our inspection, we can tell you what our recommendations are and help you choose the system that’s right for you.
Q: How long will it take to get my new heating system installed and operational?
A: In many cases, we can complete your installation in one day. We aim to minimize the disruption to your life and help you get back to normal as quickly as possible. However, every job and every situation is different so we prefer to address this issue on a job-by-job basis. At your initial site inspection, the technician should be able to give you a rough estimate on how long the installation will take.
